A big group photo from the 1914 visit the Imperial family of Russia did to Romania to pay a visit to the Romanian Royalfamily. Both political and marriagable ideas were in thoughts for this trip. However only the political plans were the onces that was going on agreeable terms. The marriage idea between the Prince Carol of Romania and Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaievna was thrown off. Even if it was something cementing between the young little Princess Ileana and her older cousin Tsarevich Alexei.

The anxious expressions on the faces of these angels, mirror the tragedy and horror that was to come. I came into this world just 22 years after that cursed revolution; and yet my heart still cries-out - for shame - and bleeds for these innocent and exemplary Human Beings, who did nothing to deserve it !
