The yearly Christmas Market at the Storgatan in Old town of Stockholm.
Could you imagine that here happened one of the bloodiest executions in Swedish history back in 1520. Approxamitly 80-90 people (in which most of them was nobility and clergy that supported Sten Sture party) was excuted on this square and blood ran down the street of all these people. Not much are standing here that still tells of the story. What is standing is the foutain and some houses that was standing when one of the most horrible acts in Sweden happened.
Today it is often used for it's Christmas Markets they have regularly during winter season and sometimes tours that can be taken in Stockholm and the Old town tells the story of the horrific moments in Swedish history.
