Eleanor of Castile (1241 – 28 November 1290) she was the wife of Edward I of England. She was the oldest daughter of Ferdinand III of Castile and Joan, Countess of Ponthieu, thuse a great-granddaughter of Alys, Countess of the Vexin, fourth daughter of Louis VII of France.
