Before the transportation

Helga Weiss in the picture said to be 12 years old and dated in 1941 before she and her family was transported to Terezin ghetto, one of the many authors that wrote of their years in concentration camps. I read her diary as a part of a course I took some years ago and like the moment 5 years ago when I sat in the dining hall together with teachers and more then 120 students listen to the story that was told to us from one of the survivors it gripped me, most of these that has stories to tell was not more then young people when all this happened, but they have stories that captures one and make these people that for some are just history to come alive.

I went to the Nordic Museum library today as I had to return a book I borrowed and they had out free books as today are the 70th anniversary of the memorial of the Holocaust ending. And I got a copy of the book "Judiska minne - berättelser från Förintelsen" (Jewish memories - tales from the Holocaust) it was quite gripping book to read and glad I got able to get a hold of it, since it shows the view on people that are less know to read about in history. After all so many people experinced the Holocaust and not only Jewish people, but even others and so many other massacers existed tragically.

May we one day see a world that don't kill innocent people or do such crimes as it is to kill someone just to wipe out some because you don't like them or think they deserves to be living. Think the world will be a far better place if everyone could respect each others.
